Don’t be afraid of correction. Embrace it, look for it. While it is true that there are those who confuse correction with condemnation and think being harsh is a mark of “discipline”, correction need not be viewed in that light. True correction points out where (and how) you can get better, gives kudos to where you got it right and in no way equates your identity with your errors. You see dear reader, we all make mistakes, none of us knows everything, we all have blind spots on one thing or another and you know what? That is perfectly fine. The issue is not “not knowing”, the issue is “unwilling to learn” and why shouldn’t you learn? You dear reader deserve to grow, you deserve all the good things that come with improving. Getting better and better looks great on you 🙂 You do not know everything and that in no way makes you stupid. If not knowing everything means “stupid” then the whole world is teeming with stupid.
So open yourself to learning, do not be afraid of mistakes. They do not define you and they are actually opportunities to get better. Platforms of progress.
